As a member, you have online access to our quarterly international, peer-reviewed journal published by Oxford University Press, as well as unlimited online access to the entire archive of Journal of Design History articles and reviews. Awards
DHS members qualify for a series of grants and awards for research undertaken within the field of design history. In addition to our annual writing prize, awards are granted to both professionals and students for all stages of the research process from primary source research to dissemination.
Members Directory
As a member of the Society, you will have access to an international network of design historians and researchers through our new Members Directory. You will have the ability to create your own profile page and search the pages of others by location, research interests, keywords and more. This feature will be visible only to other logged in members.

DHS members receive a member’s-only news bulletin sharing latest design/history call for papers, events, job vacancies, funding opportunities and publication announcements.
