Art Emergency, a mentoring charity and support network that helps underrepresented young people get ahead in the creative and cultural industries, is looking for mentors who are based in Bradford, Brighton, the East Midlands, Gateshead, Greater Manchester, Leeds, London, Merseyside, Newcastle and the West Midlands. These can be arts and humanities professionals who’d be interested in mentoring a young person in 2022, helping them to set goals, explore higher education, creative projects and careers.
It's easy to sign up as an Arts Emergency mentor, all you need to do is fill out the mentor registration form and then pick an online training session that works for you. Please use the same email address when you fill in your form and book your training. Available training dates:
Wednesday 27th October: 6 - 8.15pm
Tuesday 2nd November: 6 - 8.15pm
Mentors are expected to attend a two hour online training session to be considered. Mentoring begins in January and mentors are expected to meet their mentee once a month for an hour over the course of 12 months
