Call for Papers: Student Forum: Hear Your Peers

12.45-1.30pm TRT /10.45-11.30am BST

Hybrid event chaired by Marta Filipová

Hear Your Peers provides students at all stages of their studies with the opportunity to present their research at the 2022 Design History Society annual conference and take part in a discussion chaired by Marta Filipová, Conference Liaison Trustee of the DHS.

Each speaker will give a 5-10 minute presentation illustrated by 3 PowerPoint slides followed by a group discussion. In a friendly and welcoming space, conference attendees are invited to bring their lunch or log in via Zoom.

If you are a current student and would like to take part, please submit two Word documents: an anonymous short abstract (c.200 words) in English about the work you would like to present, and a short biography (c.100 words) detailing your institute affiliation and whether you intend to attend the conference in person or online.

Deadline for submissions is 11:59pm BST on Tuesday 2nd August. Please send both Word documents to the DHS Administrator, Jenna Allsopp by email: designhistorysociety@gmail.com
